The issue of introducing subsidiary coins simultaneously with the new system, and I conceived that less confusion would arise by arranging the introduction of the new system at a period which would be the least interference with the postal business of the Colony.
3. In order that the fullest information might be afforded, I caused a Government notification on the subject to be published by the Post Office, and a previous notification on the same subject to be republished, of both of which I beg to enclose copies.
